What exactly are UV lashes?
UV lashes are still lash extensions - the difference is in the adhesive. Instead of waiting for the adhesive to set on its own, I use a brief, targeted light to set each extension as i apply it,

Frequently asked questions
Is it really UV light?
Yes the light uses a brief, targeted 395-405 nm UV/violet light to set the lash adhesive. The light is activated only for short moments as I apply each extension.
Are UV lashes different from regular lash extensions?
The lashes themselves are the same, I still customize your length, curl, style, and mapping. The difference is how the adhesive sets.
Can I switch to UV lashes if I already have traditional extensions?
Yes. You can try UV during a regular fill without starting over with a brand new set.
Does a UV lash appointment take longer?
Usually not by much. The application process is very similar.
Do I have to choose UV lashes?
Not at all. UV is completely optional. Traditional lash adhesive is always available.
What if I have sensitive eyes or skin?
Please tell me before your appointment. UV lashes may not be appropriate for everyone, especially if you have photosensitivity, certain eye or skin conditions, or take medications that increase light sensitivity.
Will UV lashes last longer?
Some clients may experience improved retention, but lash retention varies from person to person and depends on your natural lash cycle, aftercare, lifestyle, and other factors.
Is the light on the whole time?
No. The light is activated briefly and only when I’m setting an extension.
